Waitrose teach students every’fin’ about filleting fish

Today Year 10 had a wonderful time learning how to fillet and prepare trout for eating.

The session was sponsored by Waitrose Marlborough. Two fish specialist from Marlborough came and demonstrated the filleting and then gave each student a trout to prepare.

All students had a go and many made a brilliant job –Edward M was praised for having the best fillets.

Students then pan fried their fish and sat down to enjoy their work served with a few chips prepared by Skye F.
