Our Pewsey Vale Arts Ambassadors enjoyed an afternoon of creative delights at Marlborough College in the Art Department and at The Mount House Gallery. Their Artist's in Residence: Siobhan Humston and Elé Van Schoor gave a talk, and Elé gave us a mesmerising potter's wheel demonstration. After a very intuitive question and answer session from our students, they all immersed themselves in observing and drawing from the artworks in the gallery space. Overall, it was another brilliant collaboration.  Pewsey Vale School are thankful to Marlborough College Art Department for hosting our Arts Ambassadors.

Eating pancakes on Shrove Tuesday is the last opportunity to use up eggs and fats before embarking on the Lent - a 40-day fasting period leading up to Easter. The pancake has a very long history and featured in cookery books as far back as 1439. #PVSFactoid https://t.co/XWJcN3DpeE
