Online Contact Form
We have asked parents to complete a short contact form if their child plans to join the school in September.
Letter to Parents
Dear Parents and Carers
We are delighted that your child has been offered a place at Pewsey Vale School for September 2020 and we would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and your family into our community.
As a school, we aim to support both you and your child through the process of transition to make it as smooth as possible. In order to help you we will shortly be sending out a complete transition pack with a wealth of information to guide you. We use this as an opportunity to offer you a chance to share useful information with us about your child so that we are able to best support them from the moment you join us.
We currently find ourselves in unprecedented times, so it is difficult for us to predict what the coming months will involve. Usually, we would visit all students in their schools so that we can find out about them and answer any questions or address any concerns that they have. However, as things stand we are unclear of whether we will be able to do any visits. Therefore, during the summer term we will endeavour to make regular contact with you and your child to find out about them and support them in preparing for joining us.
In order to do this effectively, we would like your email address and contact number so that we can communicate with you online. We have set up a form which you will find on our main school website – Click here to access the form.
As in previous years we will also try to facilitate enhanced transition for students identified with Special Educational Needs to ensure that they feel confident for their first day in Year 7.
Further details will be sent out to you, once all school places have been accepted via Wiltshire Council and the current situation becomes more stable. However, should you have any queries in the meantime then please do not hesitate to email email@example.com.
We wish your child the very best over the coming months and look forward to them joining us for Year 7.
