On Tuesday 27th June, Year 11 completed a 3 hour practical exam. This was a practice exam for the new Food preparation and nutrition GCSE. We had to present 3 dishes in response to the following brief…
“Plan, prepare, cook and present a rage of dishes using a variety of skills from the Mediterranean cuisine.”
I made coffee panna cotta, roast chicken with homemade pasta and a white sauce with roast veg, and grilled prawns with homemade garlic mayo. It was a great experience and opportunity.
